Older women runners prove that the unimagined is possible and the impossible can be achieved. SilverStreaks will be a 15-minute documentary film that follows the progress
of Rae, Helga and Judy, three women over 65, as they train and compete in NY Roadrunners races.
With accomplished older women athletes, an experienced film crew and producers with energy and a vision we are ready to move forward. But we need your help to fund this project. Corporate, foundation and individual tax deductible contributions to the Center for Special Populations are essential for us to create a film that will bring positive role models of successful older women runners to the public eye.
SilverStreaks will inspire older women, and offer the next generation of younger women role models to sustain them throughout their lives.
We ask you to join us in advancing a new vision of aging and a new reality for women. »
SilverStreaks is a project of the Center for Special Populations, a not-for-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization that provides assistance to nonprofit organizations and supports social awareness for underserved populations.
